WE ARE SUPPORTING
Over 3000 in Remo ,Ogun State
SAS foundation having one of its focus areas on building the community from the basic elements has channeled its joint resources to obtaining free GCE forms for some candidates who are indigents. Also students who perform outstandingly are also awarded scholarships from time to time. This we intend to intensify in the nearest future.
SAS Foundation has created empowerment for its youth by placing skilled teachers in one of the public schools in Remo kingdom on its pay roll. On a periodic basis, soft loan without interests are given to our youth to engage in some form of petty trading and practice. This will encourage them to be self-reliant. We also engage in skill acquisition awareness, which instills value in dignity of labor in our youth by rallies and word of mouth outreaches.
We also place some of our members who do not have any skill on a compulsory training so as to garner some experience after which we buy them equipment for effective use in their respective skill choices.
The foundation believes in the saying that “Health is Wealth”. As a result of this, we have a mutual collaboration with ARKSHIELD MEDICAL CENTRE to assisting our members and non-members who need basic medical attention. This health support covers children and adult. Our medical support ranges from free medical tests, consultation and drugs where necessary.
It is one of the Foundation’s objectives to add value to the community by providing sound education for the masses. By extension, the Foundation is engaging in adult education and awareness for our elderly people.
One of the goals of the foundation is to partner with respective stake holders to improve on our existing infrastructure by routine assessment and maintenance. For instance, periodic visits will be made to our public schools, health care centers and land marks.
